Vulnsy

Self-hosted licensing

Get or renew the license for your self-hosted Vulnsy install, including after a move to a new server.

Request a license

Enter your details and the instance ID of the install the license is for.

The address on your self-hosted agreement, if you have one: licenses are only ever emailed to that address. Personal email providers (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) are not accepted.

On your install: Admin > License (/license), or the [self-hosted] instance id line in the app log.

Find your instance ID

Every install generates an instance ID, a UUID, on its first start. Sign in to your install as an administrator and open Admin > License (/license). It is also in the app log:

docker compose logs app | grep "instance id"

What happens next

If the email is on an active self-hosted agreement, the license is emailed to that address within minutes. Paste it on your install's License page. Otherwise we review your request and get back to you within one business day.

Bound to your install, checked offline

A license only works on the install whose instance ID it was issued for, and your server verifies it without contacting Vulnsy. A fresh install on a new server has a new instance ID, so request a license for it here. Restoring a backup keeps the instance ID, and the existing license.
